Advocacy

Children

Ending violence against children is central to Oloikarra Pefa Child and Youth Development Center’s advocacy at every level — from raising awareness with children, families and communities to influencing policy at all levels of government to ensure that every child is known, loved and protected.

Families and Communities

Pefa Oloikarra and our local partner organizations educate families and communities about ways to prevent violence against children and advocate for social norm changes like ending corporal punishment, Ending FGM and early marriage.

County Government and National Government

Pefa Oloikarra works with communities to identify child protection risks and other threats to children’s well-being. Using what we learn from our work with children and families, Pefa Oloikarra advocates with County and national governments to create, implement and mobilizes for funds to funds policies that address relevant child protection concerns such as Day of African Child.
